On November 14, 2013, residents in Mississauga and Peel Region gathered together to learn about ways to beautify the city in order to prevent crime at the Old Barber House. Guest speakers included:

- Hazel McColl, Parks Program Coordinator, City of Mississauga
- Constable Tom McKay, Peel Regional Police
- Randy Jamieson, Senior Project Manager of Community Services, City of Mississauga
