In 1992, Mississauga Council championed a transformative initiative. Their vision was simple yet profound: to empower every individual to play a role in preventing crime, whether at home, work, or school. Through their dedication and investment, they ignited a movement of hope and empowerment, touching the lives of countless individuals and communities.

Now, 34 years later, their vision has blossomed into a tangible force for change that touches every corner of Mississauga. From the Neighbourhood Watch program to educational initiatives, their bold legacy continues to shape our city’s landscape, empowering individuals and communities alike to stand against crime and discrimination.
